The exhibit showcased his attention to deal and the passion of blending Eastern and Western traditions seamlessly. Drawing from inspiration from the piece, 'Hair Installations' - I used transparencies and a die cut on the brochure to represent the translucency of the installation.

exhibition postcards | wayne state art galleries - The exhibition: In the Eye of the Beholder was an exhibit which showcased found objects and installation pieces that pushed the boundaries of beauty and art appreciation. For this postcard, I wanted to use subtle colors in order to draw the most attention to the artwork. By using interesting shapes and 'eye' like design elements, the postcard reinforces the theme of the exhibition

B.U.M.P. baby shower invitations | andrea designs - The client wanted a gender neutral invitation since the baby shower was co-ed. However, she still wanted to let the party goers know that she was having a girl. I used beige to balance out the pink. The theme of the invitation was introduced by the client, however I wrote all the copy.

Opal E Event Planning complete branding | andrea designs - The client wanted a new look. They wanted a logo that was modern and chic, not overly 'girly' Another requirement was that the color and design should be appropriate for corporate events AND weddings. In choosing the color, I kept the palette neutral.

Detroit Spokespeople flyer | andrea designs - Inspired by the bike route, I designed this piece to represent an actual map. The client wanted a flyer that contained all the information about the bike ride. I used icons to further the map legend inspiration and also to signify the kind of information being presented. I also designed the logo for the flyer and organization.

Ciers + Shows Wedding Stationary | andrea designs - The client wanted a modern look for her wedding stationary. Drawing inspiration from the bride's table setting, I incorporated the damask pattern into her bridal shower and wedding invitations, as well as her wedding program.
